A midweek report. Little white butterflies are pollinating the garden. They particularly like the brussel sprouts and the tomatoes.
Still haven’t decided about the squash blossoms, but we surely do have a lot of them! The zucchini are growing really quickly as well. Better get ready for these!
We’ve also got our first cherry tomatoes growing. Seems like these sprouted up overnight. I didn’t see them yesterday.
Speaking of sprouting up overnight, take a look at this Holy Mole pepper! One day nothing and the next day (seemingly) a 4″ pepper!
A pest problem though on the eggplant. The leaves look a bit chewed. Maybe flea beetles? Have to check on what to do about these. The purple flowers are pretty though.
Now to figure out harvest dates from the seed packets. Next project….
