Could it be time to eat? Week 7 and we’re trying the first harvest from our garden! Radishes have grown and I took outside leaves from arugula, romaine, and nasturtium. I tried the radish greens, but didn’t care for the taste – too bitter. Take a look:
The radish looked more like a carrot – a lovely purple/red carrot! Can you believe that color?
Side note – wash your garden greens well. A tiny spider crawled out! I guess it would have just been some extra protein in our salad if we’d eaten it. It was very tiny. Before the first harvest:
