So carrots today – teeny tiny carrots! Folks pay a whole lot for these kind of miniature vegetables, right?
More tomatoes too, tiny swiss chard – and a (until today) hidden cucumber!
BLTs for lunch today were delicious, by the way. After picking these, I looked up and saw this:
The first sunflower! Several more on the way too! Its hard to tell, but this is the most beautiful burgundy and the pollinators are already attracted to it!
We also cleaned up the beds today. Zucchini was just done (the squash bugs won), so we pulled it. Also cleaned up the yellowed leaves on the tomatoes. The beds now…
How about those zinnias and nasturtiums? Also – note the silvery fir tomato in the pot. Its blooming!
