A bit of a mid-week and early spring update. Everything is popping up in this warm weather. The only thing I’ve not seen yet is the escarole (which you’ll see below is woefully empty – but I do have hope!) Carrots aren’t sprouting either, but I feel certain that they’re on their way. You can see that the one plant to survive the winter is the kohlrabi in the upper right of the one bed.
The markers are fairly clear in these pictures too – type of plant at the top, followed by date planted, number planted (in parentheses), then date of expected maturity.
Keep your fingers crossed for the escarole and carrots!
