First week of June and the garden plants are bursting with growth!
Not a lot of commentary this week – just pictures of how the individual sections/plants are doing. Is that a cucumber? Why yes, it is!
The ground cherries are sprouted too!
Romanesco Cauliflower is huge, but I still don’t see an actual vegetable… you can see the residual damage from the cabbage worms. Guess I need to cut off the dead leaves!
Zucchini – first pot is grown from seed – second pot is the plant purchased from Country Boys.
Tomatoes looking awesome too!
The full left bed with tomatoes, peppers, and eggplant. Oh and the tomatillo. It’s HUGE! Happily, it isn’t very dense, so everything else is still getting sun.
The Japanese Eggplant is flowering! Isn’t it pretty?
And, for Maddi, the tat soi…
In the right bed, thing are also looking great
Look – the kohlrabi are getting bulbs!
Melon grown from seed…
and last, but not least – the two squares of pollinator flowers
Have a great week!
