Clean Up
A bit of clean up on this crazy hot day. It was time to get rid of the remaining cucumber plant and trim back the dried leaves on the tomato plants. The nasturtiums were done for the season as well. Bye pretty flowers! Everything else got a good deep watering.

How’s this for a fantastic idea? Heirloom tomatoes, sliced 1″ thick, brushed with olive oil, salt, pepper and a sprinkle of thyme. Then grill. Flip once. Delicious!

A peck is an imperial and United States customary unit of dry volume, equivalent to 2 gallons or 8 dry quarts or 16 dry pints (9.09 (UK) or 8.81(US) liters). Two pecks make a kenning (obsolete), and four pecks make a bushel.
So, we didn’t pick a peck of peppers, but a nice handful anyway! Week 15 is clearly pepper week….
